Bark is fascinating. I love the smoothness of younger cherry bark, and it’s interesting to see the strips of that recognizable texture still hanging on on this old trunk. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I agree — there must be a metaphor in there…the tree/we hold onto our smoothness while we grow, incorporating it into what we become… 🙂 LikeLike Reply
