This honeysuckled air…
sweet enough to sip,
to draw that ethereal fragrance
— like a warmth —
over the tongue.

Oh cool! I’ve always wanted to know what honeysuckle looked like! So pretty! 🙂

There are so many lovely varieties of honeysuckle — this one is “Japanese”…it grows like wild here, clambering over everything once it gets going. I adore it, but I can still hear my Grand Aunt cursing it as it consumed the fence between her yard and that of my childhood home! 😉

We have something similar, a creeper with these delicious smelling pink and white flowers called Madhabilata! Swallows trees and houses! 🙂 But so worth it! Thanks for the honeysuckle info! 🙂

Thank you kindly for visiting, and for sharing about Madhabilata with me — it sounds as if it has the same spirit as the Honeysuckle. Lovely!

I love this time of the year, the smells of honeysuckle, roses and I’m awaiting my jasmine to grow so I can take in the evening smells, just beautiful 💚
