“All” — C.Birde, 2/18
We
are all…
All we are
combined,
defined
by little more
than errant thought
and impulse
wrapped in organs,
tissue thin.
Are we all
we all
are
?
— C.Birde, 2/18

Thanks for this poem (it’s a bit of a tough twister). After my second reading I began to think about Pierre Teihard de Chardin’s “Divine Milieu”. All we are and can become is evolving.

Thank you, Tom — I’ll look up “Divine Milieu” 🙂 I’m reading a philosophical physics book right now, which has been calling to mind the Buddhist concept of the illusions of self and separation…and, while I was walking Josie, this dropped into my head. 🙂 Maybe I’m absorbing something!
